As a Year 7 teacher, would you like the opportunity to learn about the structure of the KS2 SATS and the way that pupils develop the necessary skills at primary school?
During this two hour session, an experienced primary school teacher will outline how pupils are assessed in Year 6. You will have the opportunity to look at writing tasks, past papers and key resources.
Practical strategies for improving writing will be shared, key SPAG terminology defined and reading expectations clarified. By the end of the session you will be clear about the demands of the KS2 curriculum and how we can build upon this foundation at KS3 and beyond.
This session will be led by Abi Lee and Emma Kirkham.
