Come and speak to our school direct alliance about our Primary with SEN route into teaching.

Teach Manchester is committed to the vision of outstanding education for all children in every school. Join us as a trainee teacher to begin your career and become a part of this vision.

Teach Manchester offers a School Direct Route of Initial Teacher Training. School Direct is a year-long postgraduate route to qualified teacher status which is led by a school alliance. In this route your training programme is designed by the alliance to help you meet the requirements for the award of Qualified Teacher Status and a 60 Masters Credit postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE).

Teach Manchester’s School Direct programme is designed to develop the skills our schools are looking for in a newly qualified teacher (NQT).

This informal open evening will be attended by staff from the alliance who will talk about their experience of working in a specialist school setting and about the School Direct programme.

We will be on hand to talk to you individually about your skills and experience and to answer any questions have in relation to our Primary General with SEN School Direct route.

We will run a formal presentation once, at approximately 5:45pm and will be available before and after to talk on an individual basis.

Please do feel free to bring drafts of you application with you.

We’d appreciate it if you would book to come to help us plan catering and staffing levels. If you are not able to attend, but would like to schedule a chat with us, do feel free to get in touch via rachel.eppy@teachmanchester.com or 0161 226 1773.

This event will take place in the ‘Bungalow Building’. This is the stand alone building approximately half way down the car park.
