I am the head teacher of St. Mary’s CE Primary School in Moss Side, Manchester. I have been in educational senior leadership for over fifteen years in inner city Manchester. I am a National Leader of Education. We are a teaching school and a National Support School.
St. Mary’s is a very inclusive school with almost 30 languages spoken and a rich and diverse community. We have developed a creative and innovative school leading with the support of families and staff. Urban leadership is our strength and passion as well as providing the best quality teaching and learning. There is a strong focus on well being and working with the whole community to raise standards and achievement. St. Mary’s works hard to be at the heart of the community, raising the aspiration of pupils, and proving that all children can progress and achieve success.
I am the Chair of the Teach Manchester Strategic Group, and also the Core Maths Group.
