Martenscroft Nursery School and Children’s Centre, a Teach Manchester Teaching school and Strategic Partner is working with Quality for Early Years to deliver this conference aimed at Early Years Practitioners.

The 2016 conference features Alice Sharp, Managing Director of Experimental Play as the guest speaker. Alice will be talking about the promotion of a “Value based approach to Play”, where every child is treated fairly and equally. Alice will also be delivering a workshop during the day, “Curiosity, Investigation and Discovery”.
Lisa Taylor, a Teach Manchester Specialist Leader of Education and Janet Nettleton, also from Martenscroft will be delivering the workshop “Outstanding Learning in Community Places”. This workshop will explore how to use your local resources to enrich your provision. The conference will feature a variety of other workshops, such as “Outdoor Learning in the Early Years”, presented by Cath Larkin, and a market place of exhibitions.
