As Professional Mentor for secondary University of Manchester trainees within Teach Manchester, my role is to support trainees and their subject mentors on their journey to becoming confident classroom practitioners. My role also includes the development and delivery of practical classroom strategies as well as theoretical pedagogy in line with the University’s training course for School Direct trainees.

I have previously been a subject mentor to English trainees, helping to facilitate the development of their teaching practice, whilst also helping to further develop their pedagogy and professionalism within a school environment.

I am passionate about teaching and look forward to nurturing those new to the profession so that they can become outstanding teachers.
